A strange little collective
The Crow Collective is a loosely organized collective of artists, advocates, and really cool people. Vaguely working towards a brighter tomorrow, we hope to imbue the world around us with joy as an act of resistance. With members who've received awards for advocacy to members who cannot get out of bed regularly, we hope to create a space accessible to people of any capacity.
We prioritize the rhythms of disabled bodies, neurodiverse minds, and queer lives over western-centric metrics of success. We believe in moving slowly, reaching consensus, and doing things well the first time. Resisting the urgency of western culture is not only a form of active resistance, but a vital necessity of wellness for many.
We build our lives and our creations by centering joy, discovery, and play. It is our aim to imbue all of our projects with these virtues, eschewing any and all practices and methods that stand in opposition to this. We believe that the western-colonialist power structures know that the one true opposition to fascism is joy, discovery, and play.
